Some things:
- I love how you guys actually answer me when I ask a question. Seriously. I’m going to start doing more asking. Because, you know, I’m a bit tired of me and I’m more interested in you anyway.
- Did you notice? Same template. I spent an unfruitful 2 hours tooling around the internets a couple of nights ago, looking for that just right theme with a right nav. And I never found it (came close, but nothing just right). So, then I thought, “this is ridiculous”, and indeed it was ridiculous, so I went to bed. And I woke up this morning, feeling just fine about this current template. So, there you have it.
- Someone stole our green bin from our front walk on Wednesday, after garbage pick-up. Is the concept of personal property that difficult to grasp? I just don’t get theft.
- Hollywoodland is on as I’m writing this post. 20 minutes in. Boring, so far. Plus, Ben Affleck.
- I’m moving & shaking! Backstory: Library Journal profiles 50-ish North American librarians every year in a supplement called Movers & Shakers, and this year, I’m one of them. Crazy!
- Next week, Vegas! Have you ever been to Vegas? I haven’t. And I’ve never had much desire to go, either. But there’s a conference on, one I’ve always wanted to attend, and it’s in Vegas. Next week. I’m excited!
Congrats on being a mover and shaker! Bravo!

Super duper on being a mover and shaker. That’s excellent!
Be sure to catch Celine while in Vegas — she just wouldn’t be the same anywhere else, would she!

Questions: but we’re never tired of you!!
Template: Just wait…what you’re looking for will reach right out and grab you when you least expect it.
Theft: I don’t get it either, esp theft of a garbage bin!! I have lost more in the last 3 years than in the previous 57!!
Hollywoodland: no opinion.
Moving and Shaking: well deserved…heartfelt congratulations. I’ve said it before, there was never a doubt in my mind!! Well done.
Vegas: visit a casino once then go sightseeing…both on the strip and off. If you have the chance, get out into the surrounding countryside…beautiful in a stark sort of way!!
Cheers,
Ken
