Thank you for all your kind wishes on the mister’s birthday! As I’ve mentioned before, the mister is not an etc. reader (“I don’t need to read it, I live it!”) but I read him all the comments from the last post and he was touched. He really doesn’t get this whole blogging thing, what with the random strangers being nice to each other over this faceless medium, and all that. He has no idea!
It’s been another 2 weeks, hasn’t it? I’m getting rather good at this blog-disappearing-act. The sad thing about it is that I have nothing to tell you, really nothing at all. I’ve been busy preparing for this and this, and this is keeping me pretty tied up too. This weekend was Thanksgiving (for Canadians!) and we had two fabulous turkey dinners with two fabulous families, and it was nice, for a change, to be off the couch and laptopless for a few hours. I took some pictures too, and will get those up on Flickr any day now, some great Fall-style pictures, all turning leaves and such.
But for now, it’s back to prepping for the Friday talk (that’s this one), and I leave you with heartfelt apologies for the dull dullness of this post. I’m telling myself that things will get better in November, and now, I’m telling you the same. Anticipate, dear friends!
Glad you’re back if only just to say you’ll be gone again for a while…and certainly understand the overload!! Same here in Texas. Glad you Thanksgiving was filled with friends and good food. Ours will be too…in Spokane with sister-in-law and family. Adds a lot, doesn’t it? Cheers!

Happy Canadian turkey day! I think your librarian-fans who also happen to be crafty just know that you are on your way to being a leader in the field. So focus on that important stuff and get back to us whenever!

totally know how you feel about not blogging. I’m kind of feeling the same way. I’m just busy working away and not much interesting is happening really
. good to read ya, though! I noticed you are reading Pretties! I just finished Uglies and LOVED it. Can’t wait to move on to Pretties!
