This is a picture I dug up from last year’s archives (taken in front of the Met in NYC) while trying to decide whether to chop my hair off or not. I’ve half-heartedly been trying to grow it out, but I’m not good with in-between-hair and am very tempted (very, very tempted) to cut it this short again, and throw in some pink highlights while I’m at it. I am seriously not kidding about the pink.
go for it! the in-between stage is absolutely no fun, i agree…but the initial chop off? so nice! and you can pull it off easily.

As a recently pink highlighted person, I fully endorse that option. I had a bunch of hair chopped off, too, but going from mid-chest length to shoulder length isn’t as dramatic as the very gamine short crop you’re contemplating. Still, it’s so liberating! Yay, pink!

Great photo! I know what you mean about in-between hair: I recently cut my hair short again after trying to grow it long. Short is so easy! And pink sounds fun!

Oh yes. Chop it off! Chop it all off! I’m no good at long hair either, and just cut all my hair off in April. And it felt GREAT! If only my work would approve of pink highlights…
