sniffle, hack

That murky cold I have been nursing for most of March turned into viral bronchitis on Tuesday, so i’ve spent the past four days alternating between stages of moanful almost-awakeness and fitful sleep occupied by weird dreams of boxed cereal and shiny new computers. Don’t ask, I have no idea.
I’m definitely a bit better today (hello, Internet!) but I’m suffering from a severe case of across the board out-of-it-iveness. What has the weather been like since Tuesday? Has there been snowmelt? What’s been going on in the world? Computers in Libraries (big, blog-worthy library conference) was on this week and I missed all the coverage! I have blog-reading and e-mail writing to catch up with (bear with me if I owe you an email), a book review due Tuesday, and three and a half days worth of work to get up to speed with. Just thinking about it all makes me wilt a bit.
Before the bronchitis, I pulled together a page of knits in progress, here it is. I did it as much for myself as for etc. visitors, because ever since I became a multi-project knitter, I tend to easily forget that which I am not working on at this very second. I thought this little list, complete with progress bars (thanks, Anna) would keep me on track.
And now, don’t mind me, I must go lie on the couch.
You have my sympathies and more. As well, I took a downturn health-wise on Tuesday, having contracted a chest cold of sorts. I missed work on Wed, went in on Thu and Fri, and am somewhat vegetative today. The cold weather here isn’t helping anyone’s mood, either.
Get well soon. Your e-mails and such can wait, people will forgive you for a late response. If not, the hell with ‘em!
