29 to-day. Go shorty!
The mister took me to the drive-in on Saturday night and apart from the 7 mosquito bites sprinkled across both feet and ankles, I had a lovely time. I love the drive-in. And from the reaction I get from most people when I tell them we were at the drive-in two nights ago, everyone else does too. The one that we go to has been experiencing a bit of a renaissance lately since they added a third screen, cleaned up the washrooms, and put in a brand new neon sign. But they still play the quaint 50s concessions jingle between films (you know it, the one with the dancing bag of popcorn and hotdog, both singing in decidedly chipmunk voices) and I’m pretty sure it’s what makes me love the drive-in all the more. Work on the front of the organic sweater is proceeding a little slower than it did on the back. It might have something to do with the fact that it feels a little like deja-vu (this is my first sweater, remember), and so hardly warrants any photographic attention since, thus far, it’s looking pretty much the same as this. But as soon as I get to the neck shaping, whoa — lookout!
