day for mothers

Happy mum’s day to my mum, who is the type of mum (and always has been the type of mum) who insists on making supper for her kids on a day when she’s supposed to be the one getting all the service & pampering. Happy mum’s day to all the other mums (and mums-to-be!) out there too.
And here’s a question for you: what should I do with bibliolatry.net? I’m seriously floundering on the purpose of this blog. I started writing it a couple of years ago and for the first year and a half, it was a library/librarian news/resources blog like all the many others out there. I sort of lost interest in that as soon as I admitted to myself that there are many other blogs that do the news/resource thing better than I do (and probably ever could) so I repurposed it into a library lit review blog. I still like that idea but here’s another conscious submission: I don’t think I can sustain this model. I’ve managed a single paltry entry in 5 months, and with all the other library-related writing I’m doing these days, I just can’t devote the time necessary to formulate a coherent narrative for everything I read. However, I’m not ready to retire the thing altogether, and I have the domain until September, so I’m willing to try something new. Send me your ideas, would you? Thanks.
And hey, what have we here? I’ve gone two paragraphs without a word about yarn, needles or scarves.
