On Friday morning we threw some clothes and a few books into a knapsack and drove to Montréal. For all our chronic disorganization, these trips we take don’t suffer much from lack of foresight and minimal planning. We did hardly anything by way of tourist attractions, but we did have a few excellent meals and spent a whole lot of time reading profusely, strolling insouciantly, relaxing indolently, and sleeping indulgently.
