PEI and Yukon are no more, but there’s always Nunavit.

commonplace, since 2002
I try not to comment here on the books I’m reading since I have another blog for that, and one wouldn’t want there to be too much blog-crossover, now would one? Here is all I will say about it until the review:
• It’s too long.
• The first 200 pages could have been chopped down to 3, maybe 4 pages.
• Things only really start getting interesting when Harry, Ron and Hermoine go back to Hogwarts.
• Around 100 pages after that, the plot starts to seriously slow down again.
• J. K. really needs an editor.
• If Mike wasn’t reading it at the same time, and if he wasn’t consistently 200 pages ahead of me, assuring me that it gets better, I might have tossed it aside by now.
• Nonetheless, I am enjoying schleping around the bulky volume and will likely feel like a part of me has been lopped off once I’m done with it.
