what would you read?

Reading is important, but travel reading is crucial. What I read on a trip has a direct impact on my overall enjoyment of said trip and will be inextricably linked to the memories I return with. So I’m looking for suggestions on what I should take to London. A few requirements:
• Length: 16 hours in flying time plus 10 days there. I’ll need 500 pages at the very least. Nothing like this.
• Fiction or non-fiction, I’m not particular.
• Vaguely related to England or London would be good. I use the term “vaguely related” loosely, but this book, for example, doesn’t stand a chance.
• Travel-friendliness: I’m not big on luggage, so this book and this book were eliminated for this reason.
Leave a comment or send me a message (remember to removespamblock). All suggestions will be carefully considered, and if yours is selected, I will send you a picture of me and the book beside some fabulous London monument. You can’t lose!
